Herefordshire Hideaways

Quirky and unusual places to stay near the village of Shobdon, tucked away in the depths of beautiful North Herefordshire. Fabulous views, gorgeous interiors, fantastically equipped to escape from the world. Get cosy outdoors next to the firebowl on the deck or relax and warm up in the wood-fired hot tub while soaking up the views. Get cosy indoors next to wood burners, taking advantage of blankets, throws, furs and cushions.

Choose from three very different spaces, spread out over seven acres ….

Mosaic Cabin  – Not glamping

A wonderfully light and spacious, open plan cabin with a well equipped kitchen, a luxurious bathroom and under floor heating. Gorgeous geometric rugs and colourful textiles fill the space with colour, and there is even a piano if your feeling musical. There is a large deck with a wood-fired hot tub and fire bowl over looking an ancient field with oak trees and sheep dotting the landscape.

The Stargazers Wagon – glamping (it’s own outside shower and composting toilet)

Renovated from its early circus days into a luxurious living space, the cavernous, 27 foot long, Stargazers Wagon allows you to gaze at the Herefordshire landscape as it stretches away in front of you. Relax in the wood-fired hot tub for two as you stargaze from the top of an 5 acre ancient wild meadow. Use the fire bowl on the deck for a BBQ with a view, snuggle inside the wagon in front of the wood-burning stove, or simply laze on the decking with a glass of Herefordshire cider…

The Corner House – half glamping (inside shower, outside composting toilet)

Completed in July 2017, the Corner House is a octagonal-shaped cabin designed to make the most of the amazing views.  Relax by the wood-burning stove, soak in the sunken hot tub, or lie in bed under the huge skylight, star-gazing by night or watching the buzzards swooping over head during the day.
