Burleigh House is a period, Victorian, detached holiday property with entrance hallway, and enjoys far reaching countryside views. The large games room on the lower ground floor, complete with TV, will keep the children occupied and the terraced garden gives extended space. The ancient market town of Tenbury Wells is set on the River Teme and was affectionately referred to by Queen Victoria as ’the town in the orchard’. It provides a range of interesting shops, cafes and pubs whilst Ludlow, with its fine eateries and restaurants, is only a short drive away. Tenbury Wells also hosts the annual mistletoe and apple festivals. For walkers, Titterstone Clee Hill offers spectacular views from its summits, or if you prefer a more leisurely stroll, there are plenty of country walks through the Teme Valley, renowned for its growing of hops and cider apples. The cathedral cities of Worcester, Hereford and Gloucester are only a short drive away as are the National Trust properties of Berrington Hall and Croft Castle. Hay-on-Wye can be reached in less than an hour’s drive. Shop 200 yards, pub and restaurant 100 yards.
